The history of commits is a list of previous commits (revisions) in a repository from the perspective of the selected branch. This view can be opened from the branch menu in the navigation panel after selecting a branch. 

It shows:

  • A graphical representation of branches and merges
  • The commit message
  • Tags
  • The author who carried out the commit
  • The date and time of the commit
  • For each selected revision, a detailed view of elements which have been created, updated, or deleted. The filter can be used on change type, element type, identifier and author.

Edit tags

Even after the commit, tags can be edited. To do this, open the context menu of the commit (by right clicking it or using the three dots at the right) and choose "Edit tags".

Create a new branch

If you are authorized to do so, you can create a new branch from a specific commit point. To do this, open the context menu of the commit and and choose "Create new branch".
