With a Dashboard_Widget container a user is able to model a dashboard containing plain widgets, which only display data and do not influence and react on other widgets, in contrast to the Container type: AQ_Dashboard_FlowWidget.

This container is to be used in all situations without flow actions. Its data, such as case and work lists, is modeled within the same module. This container can have containments without any parameters to be specified and it uses the dashboard_widget as the default content style.
