DCM 2.0 beta release

In Blueriq 15.0 a beta version of the new DCM architecture is included. The main goal of this beta version is for customers to get acquainted with the changes that were made in the new architecture.

The beta version will work with the happy flow, as modeled in the DCM Foundation, containing most common patterns, like case initiation, task execution, timer evaluation, case completion. The setup will work with described settings and configuration. Customers can check what is needed to eventually upgrade to the new architecture. The beta is not yet suitable to use in a production environment.

When customers are trying the beta edition of the new architecture, we're available for support, so issues can be identified as soon as possible. This way any known issues can be tackled at this stage, making it easier to conclude the beta phase.

The release contains the following deliverables:

• A way to install/deploy a DCM 2.0 setup. This can be done using:
• Retrieving the components from the artifactory, just like the runtime
• a deploy script for an easy setup of a development/test environment, check DCM 2.0 beta installation
• DCM 2.0 has been described on Blueriq DCM new architecture, the main changes, and how it can be used
• A new compatible version of the DCM Foundation project, check the accelerators page DCM 2.0 Foundation (new architecture)
• A description of the model changes and assumptions that were taken when developing the new architecture, check How to model a DCM solution using the DCM 2.0 setup
• A list of known issues which will be addressed in the coming period, before the release exits its beta phase, check Known issues in the beta version
