Another standard in decision management is The Decision Model (TDM). The decision model is a formal model for logic, not per se a notation.
It also has a notation, but no shapes other than logic. TDM uses a glossary of fact types, whereas DMN focuses on input data.
The decision model created a list of 15 principle that good decision management systems should obey to. Blueriq obeys to these principles. Some principles are more strict than Blueriq.
