Problem
After start-up of Blueriq I see the warning "invalid license provided" (or "Unable to load the project due to license limitations" in the logging)
Solution
Blueriq will check several items upon startup. Part of this check is whether the domain name, host name and Studio version matches with the license you got.
Check your license details as provided by Blueriq. You can find this information at the Customers page License section (permission required, contact the customer contact person if you can not access)
- Check if the provided license key is placed in the appropriate folder: typically C:\Program Files\Blueriq\Studio\Configuration\License (or aquima.home when using stand alone Runtime)
Go to C:\Program Files\\Blueriq\Studio\Log and open the logfile
In this logfile details about Studio version, hostname and domainname are as follows:
2014-11-06 08:18:58,745 INFO - Aquima.Studio.Server.Services.Factory.StudioFactory - Studio Server
2014-11-06 08:18:58,776 INFO - Aquima.Studio.Server.Services.Factory.StudioFactory - StudioVersion: 9.3.3.0
2014-11-06 08:18:58,776 INFO - Aquima.Studio.Server.Services.Factory.StudioFactory - Aquima SDK: 9.3.3.0 OEM
2014-11-06 08:18:58,776 INFO - Aquima.Studio.Server.Services.Factory.StudioFactory - Hostname: server
2014-11-06 08:18:58,776 INFO - Aquima.Studio.Server.Services.Factory.StudioFactory - Domainname: blueriq.nl- The license details provided by Blueriq should match with the actual information in the Studio logfile.
- If this is not the case, contact your system administrator or Blueriq support.
- The same logging information for Runtime is available
- Go to Installation directory\Blueriq\Release\Runtime\aquima.home\logs
- In the logfile you will find the following information
INFO c.a.i.foundation.lic.LicenseUtil - Creating license context for host 'aq-acc' on domain 'blueriq.nl'
After a new license file is placed restart the Studio or Runtime service.
