With Blueriq, it is possible to provide multiple language and dialect implementations per application.

Modeling a multilingual application

In your model, the language needs to be defined at the project level. You may also set a dialect, such as formal and/or informal. A default language needs to be set as well. This can be done in the "Languages" tab in the properties panel of the project view (see picture).

Now that the project languages have been defined, you can set the content. Each field in Blueriq Encore that is accompanied by a multi-language icon () can be used to set multiple language definitions. For example, at the display names of pages and containers, question and explain texts, documents, content items, text items, value list items, and many more. A badge is used to indicate how many more language definitions exist next to the current one for a particular field:

The switch in the titlebar of a view () can be used to set all language fields within a view to another language.

Running a multilingual application

In the flow starter of the development dashboard, the project language with which you want to start an exposed flow of an application can be set. This selector effectively adds a language (e.g., languageCode=nl-NL) to the URL.

In production settings, it is more likely that you will use shortcuts to start an application. The language code is included in this shortcut.
