Use the group access matrix to manage which actions users in a group may or may not perform.

To open this view, select the cog in the bottom left corner and choose "Group access". This option is disabled for users who do not have the permission to manage user access.

Manage groups and group access

Once the view is open, select a group and manage access by clicking on the colored icons in the matrix. At the general level, there are two types of access: granted and denied. All other levels have an extra option: inherit from their parent level.

To add a new group, use the button on the top right.

To rename, duplicate, or delete an existing group, use the context menu next to the group selector ().

Branch types and branches with rights other than 'inherit', will be expanded automatically upon opening the group access view.

Role mapping

In order to use Blueriq Encore, users should at least have one role assigned in the identity provider (Keycloak). This role needs to be mapped from Keycloak to Blueriq, which can be done in the group access view under "Roles". The role(s) specified in this field is the role known in Keycloak and will be mapped to the selected group. It is possible to map multiple roles to one group. After saving, the changes will take effect immediately: there is no need to restart the Studio server.
