You are viewing the documentation for Blueriq 15. Documentation for other versions is available in our documentation directory.

Sometimes you just wish to quickly see if something works as intended, without making a proper unit test. Therefore we offer the functionality of quick test.

Note that if after running the quick test you wish to save this test, it is possible to save the quick test as a normal unit test.

In this screen you create or load a profile, and specify which attribute you wish to source.
When pressing the run quick test and source attribute button, the derived values will be shown in the values panel at the bottom of the screen.
Here you can see what attributes are required to derive the given value.

It is possible that the required entity is not present or an attribute has no value.
In the lower screen you can set the value of an attribute by clicking the pencil icon and filling in the desired value.
When you rerun the test after this, the sourced attribute will be derived again, showing the result.

If the sourced attribute is depending on a relation to another entity, and this entity is not instantiated, you can do this by clicking the generate missing instance button.

Blueriq will then instantiate the entity, and generate a relation instance to the given entity.
The created relation will appear in the dropdownlist and will be automatically selected.

After accepting the changes, the quick test can be run again.

  1. The images on this page are broken (at least on my system)

Thanks for the notification. Can you see the images now?

      1. I can see the images now, altough a broken image icon is still shown after the text "you can do this by clicking the generate missing instance button."
