The procedure described in Kerberos - Runtime applies for the Publisher as well.
Make sure the studio.authentication option in publisher.properties is set to KERBEROS_CUSTOM if you plan to use the Kerberos authentication. See details about this setting in the Installing Publisher 4 page.
