The changes are color coded. Orange elements have been changed, Green elements have been added and Red elements have been removed compared to the 13.x release.

Database upgrades

Case Insensitive searching through Case Data for Oracle disabled by default

We have seen that the case insensitive search added in release 13.2 can decrease performance in some cases on an Oracle database. For this reason, we have disabled case insensitive search by default for now on Oracle. SQL Server is not affected.

As a result, we need to update an index in the Oracle database. Please execute the following script which you can find in the dbscripts of the process-sql-store:

  • upgrades.13.6.1/oracle_upgrade_13.6.1.sql


We introduced a feature toggle to enable case insensitive search on Oracle. By default it is turned off. If you still would like to use the Case Insensitive searching feature, see How to enable case insensitive search on case data for Oracle.
