Below are the hardware requirements for running Blueriq version 12 in production environments.
System Requirements: memory, free disk space, CPU
Product | Type | Free memory (minimum) | Free memory (advised) * | Free disk space | Recommended CPU |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Runtime | Client | 1 GB | 1 GB | - | - |
Runtime | Server*** | 1 GB | 4 GB | 5 GB | Intel Xeon X5650 or better |
Studio | Client** | 1 GB | 2 GB | 200 MB | Modern dual core or better |
Studio | Server | 2 GB | 4 GB | 10 GB | Modern quad core or better |
Publisher | Client | 1 GB | 1 GB | ||
Publisher | Server | 1 GB | 1 GB | 5 GB | Intel Xeon X5650 or better |
* The memory usage of both the Studio client and server is strongly correlated to the size of the projects and the number of (open) branches. These numbers suffice for a simple project.
** Running the Studio client on thin clients or via terminal services can cause problems, because the client requires significant resources from the graphics card which may not be available in such cases. Therefore it is advised to run the Studio client on a dedicated system.
*** Memory usage of the runtime server depends on the number of users, the size of the project, differentiates per application server usage and the optional custom code.
Screen resolution
Minimum screen resolution for running Blueriq is 1280 x 960.
