The main purpose of this section is to provide an overview of the environments and what is currently published on each environment. It can also be used to execute publish actions on an environment.
The information that is shown here will be based on the configuration of the publisher user that is logged in. In short: if the user is able to publish to an environment, it is shown here.
From here there is another way to publish or unpublish one or more projects by selecting them and choosing the action at the bottom of the page.
Show environment details
The following environment details can be shown for each environment:
- the database user name
- whether an approval is required and
- whether uncommitted changes are allowed
Pending (for a specific environment)
Clicking the button 'Pending' shows all pending publications and unpublications for that specific environment.
Compare two projects
Another option is to compare two projects. With this function it is possible to see the differences between versions of the same project on different environments (except for Studio). For example, on a test environment there will be a newer project version than on the acceptation environment. By using this function the differences can be discovered.
