The foundation is set up using a case-centric design. To make the concept of the case specific and keep all the collected information together, an aggregate is used. The aggregate Zaak (English: Case) contains references to the dossier, process, documents, users. The aggregate also contains metadata and status information of the case and is used to show in a case list (i.e., an aggregate list).
A second aggregate Zaakdossier (English: case dossier) is used to store the case-type specific and domain specific information.
