Who is this design guide for?

This design guide is intended for all Business Engineers who want to use version management. You are expected to know the Blueriq basics, but no knowledge of other version control systems is needed to start.

Organization of this guide

This guide is organized in three parts:

The first part is an introduction to version control. The second part concerns common version management strategies and how to apply these to a Blueriq application and the final part is about version management in Blueriq summing up the main features and contains links to step-by-step guides and further reading.

Blueriq projects consist of modules and are part of branches, that form a repository. These concepts are explained in the visual shown below.
