There are three different steps in creating a custom connection. 

1. Create a connection This is the easiest way to create a custom type connection
2. Create a configuration widget for a connection This is is necessary if you want to configure the connection in the development 
3. Create an Aquima Connection Manager to customize the connectionmanagement If you created a whole new connection you need to create a manager for it.
