Step-by-step Installation

...

The steps in this section apply to the custom installation.

In this screen you can choose the Blueriq features you wish to install: Studio, Runtime, Customerdata, DCM-lists, CaseEngine and Document Renderer. Note that the latter three are only available if you install the Runtime.
Here you can also configure the Blueriq installation directory.

When you click next you can configure the port IIS uses. Default is 150.

Note

Any port specified in the installer is not checked for availability.

When you click next you can configure the port of the Studio Server service uses and the port for the studio Rest Service. Defaults are 15093 and 15096.
If the checkbox "Start studio on install" is checked the Studio will be started after the installation is finished.

When you click next you can configure the ports of the PostgreSQL Service and History Service. Defaults are 15094 and 15095.

These Services are use by the version management system.

The next screen allows you the choose the type of authentication that Studio will use. For more information and configuration after installation see Studio Security Modes.

Next is the user that is used to connect to Blueriq Studio by the administration page. The default is listed.

Note

if you choose NTLM or NTLM custom for security configuration, you need to provide an active directory user here.

If you choose custom authentication, you best leave this untouched. If you need to change the user, the configuration for the administration page will be changed, but you still need to manually create the user in Studio after installation. Without this, the administration page will not function.
